Tesh Supporter...

Yes, I am a Tesh follower...LOVE HIM! :) I often listen to his little helpful facts on Family Life Radio and have recently become a frequent visitor of his website! [of course, the adorable Gib Gerard, encourages repeated viewings {www.tesh.com}] Anyhow, I was listening intently last week when John Tesh told us about the top 5 worst foods. Well, because of some stupid driver (which will remain nameless not due to discretion, simply because I don't know his name) decided to play chicken with my blessed vehicle and I missed the different foods mentioned by Tesh.
Well, this just wouldn't do! Upon arrival at my job, Miss Di and I frantically searched the Internet and Tesh.com for this information; for you see, I gained the research support through her pure curiosity of the answer as well. We found many interesting facts about dieting, food options, restaurants,...yes, everything EXCEPT the exact topic of our most diligent quest.
Exhausted from clicking and browsing, I was sitting in front of my computer and exclaimed "I KNOW!" to miss Di. After recovering from her initially frightened state of my abrupt comment, she said, "What for?" [inside joke] I then told her I would just email the station and see if they knew the information we had been searching for.
Well, I include the information below with great pride and accomplishment attached to it. Yes, my idea was rather conventional, but these days, I take pleasure from anything I can succeed in :). So, enjoy the knowledge I am about to bestow on you and DON'T eat these foods ever again!! :)

The Top Five "Worst Foods in the World"

Get ready for a list of “The worst foods in the world!” Nothing could get your day off to a better start than a delicious breakfast of eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce, right? Wrong. Unless you like starting your day with the number one worst food in the world. This list comes from a report in Forbes magazine – and here are the top five – or bottom five depending on how you look at it.

The #1 worst food is Eggs Benedict. It may be your go-to meal at Sunday brunch, but an average serving is packed with a whopping 72 grams of fat and a thousand calories. That’s almost the amount of fat you should have in an entire day and a half – in one dish!

Running a close second is the all-American cheeseburger. Loaded with saturated fats, these thousand calorie conglomerations of fried red meat, cheese and refined white bread can contribute to heart disease, stroke and prostate or colon cancer.

#3 on Forbes list of the unhealthiest foods in the world: Duck Confit, which is duck meat preserved in salt and cooked in its own fat. It weighs in with 60 grams of fat and thousand calories. Even though duck is poultry, it can have more fat than a juicy steak – and 60 grams of fat is the daily limit for a grown man.
Fourth on the list is fondue, which has a little less fat, only 50 grams, but a waist-expanding 1,300 calories. The globs and globs of melted cheese are guaranteed to send your cholesterol level into the stratosphere.
Rounding out the top five is fettuccine Alfredo, the creamy 700-calorie concoction of pasta, cheese, butter and cream. Dr. James Kenny of the Pritikin Longevity Center in Florida says, "We call fettuccine Alfredo the 'triple bypass special'."
