Fall Fashion Fun... :~D

Ok, Lauren is going to kill me for putting up another one of these "informational" blogs...but I was reading it and just HAD to!
Most of you know I definitely keep a tight budget -more often- I just don't spend. :) However, you can see how this would be a problem when I also like to look cute! Therefore, About.com is an excellent resource for me to find out the latest and figure out my own ways of "achieving the look" :) So, good luck with finding your own version of the lastest Fall Fashion :D

Happy Shopping!

5 Must-Have Accessories for Fall
Update Your Fall Wardrobe for Cheap
By Kori Ellis, About.com

Don't let the economy get you down. If you are on a limited budget like most of us, it doesn't mean you can't look fabulous. With these five basic accessories, you can update your wardrobe without spending a bundle.

Statement Necklace

*Courtesy of ShopNBC* No one says you have to wear diamonds and pearls to look good. This season a bold statement necklace can really update your whole look. Choose colorful fashion jewelry, including bib necklaces, big pendants and chunky beads. This black crystal big necklace is under $50.

Skinny Belt

*Courtesy of Forever 21* A belt can pull together your whole look. Get a skinny belt and wear it over everything from ruffled blouses to fitted blazers to slouchy sweaters. You can find faux patent belts for under $10 at Forever 21.

Purple Handbag

*Courtesy of Target* Purple is the color of the season and a purple handbag can complement almost any outfit. You can carry a purple bag with everything from a simple black to dress to jeans and a sweater. Purple works surprisingly well with a lot of colors including black, grey, brown, navy, green and several other fall colors. Pick a shade of purple that accents the staples in your wardrobe. This purple ombre tote from Target is under $20.

High-Heeled Oxfords

*Courtesy of Endless* If you can buy one pair of shoes this season, make it a high-heeled oxford. These menswear-inspired shoes are versatile and fun. This version from Madden Girl is available at Endless.com for under $50. Endless, Zappos, Piperlime and other online shoe shops offer a variety of high heel oxfords to choose from at affordable prices.

Funky Fedora

*Courtesy of Target* The fedora is back this season and you don't have to spend a fortune to buy one. Look for a fedora at your local thrift shop, where you can find great bargains on vintage clothes. If you can't find one locally, Target offers several fedoras that are really cute and cheap, including this herringbone version.
