THE OFFICE--of the devil.

After reading the post of my dear blogger friend, I began to ponder the office. It is common knowledge that I work at a college office, and for the most part, it is a blessing! It challenges me very little, therefore, allowing great amounts of study time!
H-o-w-e-v-e-r...

I have a firm belief that offices are of the devil. My usual day consists of the following: I wake up [in a rather grouchy mood] get dressed throw on some make up and hope that my hair comes together quickly. By this time [if all goes well] I am in a pretty descent mood and try to grab a quick cup of my favorite V8 Splash {so I can fill my mind with false hopes of nutrition for my morning}. I ALWAYS sing on the way to work so by the time I arrive I am whistling a cheery tune :D...THEN the darkness surrounds me!
I walk into the stale office, fighting the unfriendly bone-chilling breeze as I come in. Suddenly! as I take my seat, this overwhelming feeling of drowsiness sets in and that very V8 energy I just had, is drained from me. I sit limply waiting for the first call or question and realize my body is slumping over lifelessly. Why! I ask. Why, has this terrible ...shhh... *office* been given such free reign of survival with it's unspoken side effects?!
You may say, "Brittany, it's just an office. People work in them everyday in every part of the world!" And THAT is the scariest part of it all! People are having the life sucked right out of them in these, so called, offices! I hate them and thus have taken up the major of Marketing; which gives little potential for *shivers* office nonsense.

So, I now sit here patiently at my desk gazing out my window at the "outside world" wondering if I shall ever enter it again.....

*tear*

hehe :D
