The day has finally come and I am DONE for this semester! I was discussing finals with co-worker that is also in school and she made a good point. She said, "They know exactly what you can take and when you are going to break." So true, everyone seems to be at wits end by finals week and my finals couldn't have come at a better time. I am now in the downhill phase and can't seem to focus at work, crash in bed every night, and when I am at home I just sit there in a daze.Hopefully this is the only week I will need to recover, because now it is play time!
I have had a few countdowns in my head for months, of course, one have them has just come to a close and then the next is VACATION! The 15th of May in the year 2009, I will OFFICIALLY be on vacation and will not return to duties until May 26th. We will be heading down to Florida on the 17th to make our way to our favorite resort in Orlando near Disney.Our first visit was last summer around this time and it was the BEST vacation of my life, of course, relaxation in general is becoming a vacation itself. We spent the week in the lazy river pool and playing putt putt with the breeze from the lake cooling our tanned skin.Ahh...only 15 more days...This vacation has definitely been blessed of the Lord because the day I was supposed to get back...it's a paid holiday :D yep, that's right...I am going to be paid to splash in water!:D
I have already begun preparations for the trip and made a small list of things I am definitely going to need :)

- Camera (just got a fantastic deal on a new digital camera...its red!!!
- Tanning (halfway there!)
- Vacation clothes (still in the process, planning a trip with Meredith next weekend)
- Nails (possibly a pedicure as well :D)
- Deep clean on my room (Meredith will be stayin' with ole Cubbers so I want to make her sleeping arrangements conducive to a good night's sleep) :)
- Grocery shoppin' (gotta' have some yummy snacks for the trip down there)
- itouch wall charger (need to make sure I have my tunes while relaxin' by the pool!)
As you can see, I am well on my way to a lovely vacation! I'll be updating my progress as the countdown lessens and with my new digital camera, you can SEE the progress!
