Training...MORE training...

Just when I thought I was through with all this Orientation attending, certificate earning, and pre-job training; they bring out MORE training.

Yesterday, today, and tomorrow I am in a Microsoft Word training class, no that was not a spelling error, I am being trained on Word after four years college experience in that precise category.

Just a few things we have been learning...

Day 1 (Beginning Level)

-Opening a Word document

-Saving a Word document

-Copying and pasting in a Word document

-Familiarizing ourselves with the tab categories

Yes, I realize you are overcome by the newest addition to my knowledge base, but there is more...

Day 2

-Learning font options

-Making tables (oh wow)

-Attempting labeling

-Formatting your document

Yes folks, this is the government and we are learning lower-level computer skills.

Day 3...

I can only imagine. I suppose we will learn an advanced setting such as "Spelling & Grammar Check."

I believe one of the saddest parts of this entire experience is the question from a class member about saving....yes. saving.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the future leaders of your country are speaking and we just learned how to save a word document, don't you trust us?"
