A brief, yet strenuous update:
I believe my last post was before Thanksgiving (which seems as though it has been years) and after thanksgiving brought a few momentous occasions...one in particular being my best friend's wedding! [Yes, Lauren, pictures are coming soon...]
Finals rolled around the week after the wedding and, needless to say, I didn't sleep that week. However, despite such odds, I made the Dean's List for forth time in my academic career! I probably shouldn't be proud of that, but let me live in my bliss, everyone.
Soon to follow...two holiday jobs which have lasted about 4.5 weeks and averaging between 8-11hour days. The two jobs included: [Honey Baked Ham], which completely had its perks (FREE Ham for Christmas:) ), and the Bookstore, which has been physically exhausting due to boredom. Tomorrow is my last day for the bookstore and then it is time to sleep in!....oh wait....no never mind on that.
Let me explain...
Fall 2008 semester entailed an extensive project for a local company downtown. It was designed to be an internship styled course, therefore, my group and I researched and formed an entire marketing plan for the company. Apparently, they were impressed because they invited us to present to the company and several other potential funding companies of the marketing plan. We all anxiously accepted this honor, however, it definitely requires some polishing and media boosting.
Due to the short notice, our group (of four) needs to redesign our PowerPoint and presentation on Wednesday, before the actual event at noon on Thursday. Soooo this means no sleeping for two more days....However! Friday has been designated to a day of leisure and cleaning :) and hopefully some long-awaited blogging!
Remain faithful to me, my neglected readers. :) I will be making a strong comeback; this I feel confident in!
