...You have got to be kidding me...

Ah...how I love Mondays :) Seems surprising, I know! This is the first semester I have felt this way, however I have never had classes I enjoyed or long breaks to relax in the library before this semester either!

My Monday has started off like usual...with the monotonous duty of flying to the main campus with my coffee in hand [that me Daddy so graciously brews for me daily!] and going about 10 over to arrive on time...for my test that I studied for 20min. before :D No worries...I was mostly exaggerating about the speed and I currently have an A in the class.

Because my WONDERFUL Professor believes in brief tests, I was able to run over to my best friend, Becca, at her school! She is a teacher at Skyview and I spent the lunch hour lounging in the "Reading Corner" of her classroom. I couldn't have been more encouraged by our little time together and I definitely have the energy I am going to need to survive this next week. Thanks Becca!!!

Well, upon arriving back at the school, I hiked [literally] up to the library and set up the laptop to begin my study of the promotions of marketing and just as I jumped into my textbook...I heard a loud and annoying hum. Well, surely it was my imagination because this IS the library and silence tends to be required. I shrugged it off and began to diligent study habits once more. AGAIN, I was interrupted by the same humming, when I then realized there was a guy about 20ft. away with headphones on "studying" and singing along with the racket in his ears.

I often make the mistake of believing most possess that beautiful gift of common sense, although, daily I am learning the opposite. Well, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and tell myself that he must not have seen me arrive and thought he was alone. I continued to ignore him...quite unsuccessfully, I might add...and then my looks escaped me and I met eyes with him. It was unexpected so I don't know what type of look I gave him but I know it wasn't a smile. I, slightly embarrassed, darted my eyes back to my laptop and hoped that at the cost of my embarrassment he would now quiet down. Silly me.

He must have thought I was impressed and only increased the volume of his bellowings! I was to the point of insanity when the librarian came to my rescue! He had begun a chorus of instrumental impressions when she kindly but forcefully asked him to "Sir, please pipe down!"

Praise the Lord for Librarians...I never knew how much I would value their vocation at this institution...but I am a changed woman! I dub today--Librarian Appreciation Day!

Scene of the crime.

My -less than pleased expression-

i would have been afraid if i had see that face!!! as for the bama fan, he must be a fairly decent guy, or at least knows a good school when he sees one!
