Yes, the blessed day has come and gone. Everything turned out beautiful and my mom's poor finger tips have begun to heal [from the pricking of pins and such] while decorating. Many hours of sleep were lost from the Thursday before the wedding to the actual day, however, getting to see the smiles of the wedding party and the two little lovebirds was quite a payoff!
No major problems occurred the day of the wedding, which is far more than the MOB [mother of the bride] expected! The food was superb and company grand! I assisted the coordinator just enough to only get a few shots :( BUT I did get a few :)
My main job during the reception was serving the cake. I have now become the professional cake cutter at our church, or so it would seem, since I have now cut the cakes at two weddings now. I hear that some 'funny' pictures were taken of this epoch in my life haha...I might not post those :D
All in all, the event was beautiful, the 'fellowship' {or so we Baptists call it :)} a blast, and the clean up...OVER :D
Now I must now prepare for my best friend's wedding in December :(...I am going to ball my eyes out...can we say WATERPROOF MAKE UP!!! :D
The Blessed Event
...I think the pictures say it all...
